In many cases, the use of organic suspending agents and glaze binders requires the use of biocides, which accordingly act as aging stoppers. Otherwise, mould and algae can form, if the glaze slurry is stored for a longer period. This property also reduces the anti-sedimentation and binder effect accordingly!
